So we just got back from Walt Disney World and had an absolutely wonderful time. I can’t believe we’re already back; it was such a short trip! I was lucky enough to be able to attend D23’s Destination D Attraction Rewind and even had a little time for the parks! We saw the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights for the first time, went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, heard Tony Baxter talk about the amazing Discovery Bay concept and even got to become a member of the esteemed (and extinct) Adventurers Club.
I’m really happy I got the chance to go. I’d never been to Disney World during Christmas time so to be able to see it mixed with a weekend of wonderful Disney history was just great.
Plus, it was crazy to be thinking that I will be working for the Walt Disney Company come January. I’m going to be a part of this great history: this great company. I’m so excited. 47 days until check in!
Back on the presentation! I really enjoyed it for the most part, though there were a few snoozing moments. My favorite presentation was definitely the one on Discovery Bay. I truly hope the idea is realized one day; it’s an amazing concept. I also really enjoyed the Tomorrowland preview and walk through of how they filmed the clip they showed us! I was already really excited for the movie, but the preview seriously solidified my gut feeling of how great it’s going to be. I have a feeling I’ll be seeing it over and over again.
Anyways, while we couldn’t take any pictures inside the presentation ballroom, I did get some other pretty cool pictures during our trip, so be sure to check out my instagram (@sincerelydanirose) for more!
Also, I’ll be doing a post on dressing for Disney pretty soon, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re into that!
Oh! For those of you who haven’t heard yet, the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be showing in select theaters starting Friday so you’ll have to tell me how it is if you see it!
