When it comes to summer fashion, shoes always feel like the hardest thing to get right. For me, they have to be comfy and cute, which is a combo that’s usually pretty hard to find. However, I’ve recently done some crazy searching and I think I might have found the perfect lineup for summer sandals! So whether you’re road tripping and getting your kicks on Route 66 or driving down the PCH to the beach, check out my current faves! I’m hoping they’ll help you find the perfect shoes too.
Birkenstocks are my tried and true favorites. They’re clunky, but they just have such a carefree vibe to them. They’re incredibly comfortable once you break them in, too, which is why I wear them so often! I have two pairs of the Arizona Birkenstocks, but I’m really loving the look of those white Mayari-style ones; they look perfect for summer.
Salt Water Sandals
Whether you’re headed to the Salt River for tubing or spending every day at the beach, Salt Water Sandals are such a great shoe! They’re cute summer sandals that are perfect for getting wet; they’re made for it! Ditch the ugly neon water shoes and get these so you can look cute and still jump in! I have the classic brown color, which is really versatile, but I love all of the different colors they have!
Everyone knows TOMS for their classic canvas slides and great one-for-one program, but TOMS has some kick-butt sandals, too. Not only are they comfy, but they offer a cute silhouette and won’t fall off your feet like flip flops do. I love my Tierra sandals (I own the middle pair on the left side), but I’m seriously loving all the styles they’re offering right now. I may have to try another one out, too!
If you’re looking for something a little more dressy, you can’t beat Kork-Ease for style and comfort. I love wearing these when I go out to dinner because they give me some height and are definitely a bit more stylish than my other sandals.
When I need a really comfy shoe that I can just slide on, I reach for my Sanuks! They’re not exactly high fashion, but they’re cute and great for when I’m in a rush. Plus, the soles are made from yoga mat material so they’re extra comfortable. I have both the Yoga Sling style and the normal sandal style. Here’s a tip: check Ross, TJ Maxx and other discount stores for these: that’s where I’ve found my favorite pairs!
