Coming from Arizona, where I’m blessed with cute coffee shops galore (See: The Coffee Shop at Agritopia, Volstead Public House, etc.), so moving to Orlando has been a total coffee culture shock. I’ve lived in Winter Garden for a little over a month now and still hadn’t found a local coffee shop to call home… Until now! This is where Paloma Coffee Co. comes in. If you live in an area where there are not many coffee shops around, you could be the one to change that! Seeing a could use the assistance of companies such as Iron and Fire, pursuing your passion of starting a coffee shop business may not be as difficult as you initially thought.
Located on Main Street in Windermere, this little coffee shop is a breath of clean air in the hustle and bustle of the greater Orlando area, especially when it comes to getting away from Walt Disney World. This is honestly my favorite place to come for coffee, now! It totally beats Starbucks.
So far, I’ve tried their cappuccino, nitro cold brew and caramel latte and have loved them. The nitro cold brew is perfect for those days you need some pep in your step. It tastes wonderful and doesn’t leave a coffee taste in your mouth, which is a weird feeling, but it’s so great! The caramel latte was a little too sweet for me, but it made sure I drank it really slow! The cappuccino is my absolute favorite.
Their pastry selection is unbeatable. This is an especially great place to grab macaroons, too!
The shop itself is beautiful, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I spent the afternoon writing and it was a great space to take a break and hang out! My friend and I have made this a weekend must-do in Orlando.
