The next few months are going to bring lots of changes for me, but I’m excited to figure it out. By June, I’ll have finished my professional internship in Orlando and will be moving onto my next adventure. What will that be? I’m not sure yet. And that’s okay!
My personal growth goals over the next few months are simple: Find what I like to do and improve my skills in any way I can. Having those two simple ideas in mind allows freedom, but also the ability to do something great, and that’s what I need!
I am remaining open to new ideas and experiences in order to grow any way I can.
I mean, I have a couple of other goals for establishing some healthy habits too, like taking my vitamins each day and remembering to actually follow through on my skincare routine. However, right now I feel like my goals need to be a sort-of mantra as I move forward in my life. Here are some of the phrases I think of often:
?Above all: To thine own self be true.? -?Hamlet
?Perfection is the enemy of progress.?
?What you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while.? -?Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project
?Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgement that something is more important than fear; The brave may not live forever but the cautious do not live at all.? -?The Princess Diaries
Keeping those things in mind encourages me to push forward and achieve what I can. I need to remind myself it’s okay to fail, because when you’ve failed, you’ve tried. Above all, I’m excited to see what the next couple of months brings.
I was encouraged to write about my goals through <em>press Themes’ linkup series. Check out this month’s prompt and maybe you’ll be inspired to write about your own goals! Check out the list of other gals below who’ve shared their own goals:

Sometimes the best we can do is have a positive frame of mind and tackle each day as it comes! I hope you have fun things coming your way in the next few months, and even if it feels terrifying/unsettling at the moment, I am sure you will make the best of it!
Yes, girl! That is so true. Thanks for the kind words.
The next few months will also bring change to my life when my partner graduates with his Masters in July. We have no idea where we’ll end up and I’m trying to embrace the uncertainly and adventure too!
Best of luck to you, Erica! I applaud you for embracing the uncertainty!
